Autism Spectrum Disorder Intervention Support Services

Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Intervention Support Services provides intensive consultation for districts serving students with autism. The service is designed to assist school personnel in providing interventions and instructional strategies to support students with autism, resulting in improved student achievement.

The service provides customized, ASD-focused training for staff by providing a variety of research-based instructional strategies that facilitate the design, implementation and monitoring of interventions related to individual or specific classrooms. In addition, staff gain the necessary skills to serve as objective members of Multi-Factored Evaluation and Individualized Education Program teams as well as guide the development of individual plans that are aligned with student IEPs.
