Employment Services
The Office of Human Resources provides employment services and consultation to assist districts and agency partners with various support functions spanning the life cycle of full- and part-time employees.
School districts and other agencies utilize the ESCCO and the Council Of Governments (ESC-COG) as a Professional Employer Organization for typical employee leasing functions. Customers benefit from employee recruitment; paperless application management through AppliTrack; potential employee pre-screening, interviewing and selection; employee on-boarding; licensure support; criminal background checks as well as employment and renewal contract administration.
The Office of HR also facilitates the tracking and management of employee demographics and life change events and oversees the Local Professional Development Committee (LPDC) along with MyLearningPlan, an LPDC Web-based professional development activity tracking system.
In addition, the Office of HR provides benefits administration, access to Human Resource Information System (HRIS) and regulatory and employment law compliance through online training for ORC, EEOC, ADA, FLSA, FMLA and HIPAA.
