Closing Achievement Gaps
The Center for Achievement and Leadership Services offers a comprehensive suite of professional consulting services from data analysis and program evaluation to interventions and behavior supports that target specific student subgroups and effectively close achievement gaps in reading and math.
The center can support districts, schools and teachers with large group presentations, professional consulting, small group facilitation and targeted coaching in following areas:
Data Analysis
Collecting, analyzing, and using a variety of classroom data to inform instruction and effectively monitor student progress.
Program Evaluation
Evaluating the effectiveness of programs and services.
Interventions
Planning, implementation, and monitoring of a system of interventions and academic supports to address the needs of struggling students. From Response to Intervention and Intervention Assistance Teams to practical classroom strategies for teaching reading and math, the Center for Achievement and Leadership Services can help.
Behavior Supports
Planning, implementation, and monitoring of a system of behavioral supports to address the needs of hard-to-reach students. From Culturally Responsive Practices and Ruby Payne’s “Framework for Understanding Poverty” to Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports, the Center for Achievement and Leadership Services can assist with practical classroom strategies for effectively addressing behaviorally challenging students.
